ABOUT JONAS BOHLIN

Jonas Bohlin is the one of the most famous designers and interior architects in the Nordic countries, revered for his innovative creations. His extensive career started with his degrees project at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts, and Design in Stockholm, 1981, the chair Concrete that has attained a cult status.

For more than four decades, Bohlin has exhibited his exceptional talents across various disciplines, encompassing glassware, textiles, art objects, installations, and furniture and lighting design. His artistic prowess has earned him numerous accolades, and his works have been showcased in exhibitions worldwide.

Bohlin took on a remarkable journey in 1994, rowing from Stockholm to Paris in his boat LIV( Life in English) This extraordinary experience served as the catalyst for his collection LIV, which drew inspiration from his months-long expedition, navigating waterways and sleeping beneath the vast open sky.
